PREVIOUS PROFESSIONAL HISTORY


(1)  APERSEY CONSTRUCTION, 1984-1988:  Directed Preconstruction Services for Apersey's major negotiated projects including as Head Core & Shell Senior Estimator (project valuations from $500K to $63 Million).

(2)  RAYMOND E. LINDAHL, INC. (Engineers & Construction Consultants), 1981-84:  Full-service Construction Consultant for private & public projects, commercial / institutional / residential work, value range from $75K +/- (numerous San Francisco Parapet Ordinance projects) to $1.4 Billion +/- (San Quentin Prison rehabilitation/ expansion options in response to class action lawsuit, State of California, 1983).

(3)  BLYMYER & SONS ENGINEERS, INC., 1979-81:  Manager of Field Operations 1980-81: on a national scale, planned & managed course-of-construction phases for turn-key projects, fully-designed or design/build; Coordinated efforts with Contractors, Architects and Engineers throughout U.S.;  1979-80: multi-project Field Operations inspector / overseer.

(4)  GENERAL CONTRACTORS' INSPECTION SERVICE, 1976-81 (a Partnership):  Co-founded and co-directed report-issuing residential / commercial real estate inspection service, based on all Inspectors being licensed Contractors (sold interest to former partner, who continues with this business today).

(5)  WASZINK BUILDING SERVICES, 1976-80 (General Building Contractor, B-1 License #324875 as of 1976;  Inactive as of 1979):  Full-service General Contractor for private & public projects, including residential, commercial & institutional work; fully-designed & Design-Build, negotiated or bid work; project values to $550,000 (1978 Dollars).

(6)  DESIGNER/BUILDER, 1966-1976: Design, construction and rehab projects in Southern California, specializing in conversion of light industrial & commercial properties to live/work usage; budgets from $50K-$300K (1971 Dollars).

(7)  SPECIAL PROJECTS DIRECTOR, CITY OF LOS ANGELES MUNICIPAL ARTS DEPT. 1971-75.

  Appointed Member, Citizens' Fiscal (2001 and 2006 Bonds) Oversight Committee, 2001-2008: Tamalpais Union High School District Master Plan Implementation ($124 Million Bond passed March 2001 / $ Million Bond Passed 2006); 1993-1997 - Facilities Renovation Committee Member and Advisor to Mill Valley School District;
